Our team of experts completed a complete website redesign of Sunseeker NQ, a local pool company who wanted a design revamp of their website. Our team got together to brainstorm ideas and to plan out the design and style, and used a range of different elements: complementary colours, parallax, animations and a brand theme focussed on family just to name a few.
Rather than stay confined to the usual rectangle boxed sections, we also used wave-like section dividers to keep the information of the page flowing and to invite the viewer to continue down the page. We believe that as we continue progressing into a more digital landscape, that these elements will prove invaluable to create a more seamless experience for the viewers.
On completion of the website, we submitted the project to the Web Excellence Awards for Season 15.The Web Excellence Awards are a set of prestigious awards that only award the best of the best. The process for selecting a winner is based on a number of factors, like creativity, functionality, innovation and the overall impact. The awarding process isn’t limited to just one, or even a few rounds of judging. Each entry is ‘assigned to several experts from various backgrounds for evaluation’ [taken from Web Excellence Awards Website]. This alone is a great way to see how serious the committee is for only choosing the best.
Over 860 submissions were made for Season 15, and our Sunseeker NQ project was selected as one of the winners. To further put this fantastic achievement into perspective, entries were received from all over the world, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.
